OUR MISSION

Making safety seamless to get you moving is our mission at Thousand. Our founder, Gloria Hwang, was inspired to start the company after the loss of a friend in a fatal bike crash. As a longtime cyclist who never wore a helmet, she realized the need for a stylish and functional helmet that people would actually want to wear.

We named our company "Thousand" as a goal to help save 1000 lives by making helmets people actually want to wear. Our name is a daily reminder of why we do what we do.

FIT NOTES

Every head is different, but with our helmets' integrated dial fit system, it's easy to make small adjustments for a comfortable fit. Just turn the dial clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen. You can also remove some or all of the interior fit pads without affecting the safety of your lid to accomplish your preferred fit.
