TECHNICAL SAFETY GEAR - KNEEPAD SK8 DHP'S

The SK8 DHP knee pad is extreme downhill protection developed in collaboration with speed demon Kevin Reimer. Downhill pads are not just about saving flesh and bone from concrete, but also provide a durable pivot for slides and balance. The Sk8 DHP's come in a long design made from durable, tear-resistant nylon with a large cap and lateral slide extensions. To keep it in place, it also features secure Neoprene butterfly straps with a closure that Kevin can trust.

We developed the Kneepad Sk8 DHP‘s with our team rider Kevin Reimer. The goal was to make a pad for extreme DH skaters that stays in place in case of a fall. The pad is pulled far over the knee, and the cap on the side is extended to prevent the pad from breaking when sliding laterally. This pad has a butterfly strap system for ease of use and adjustment. On the inside of the pad, there are additional silicone prints so that the pad holds even better at the knee and does not slip. The special straps system can be adapted to the length, so there are no excess straps, and they can be additionally secured with an over tab closure. The use of very thick EVA foam provides protection for DH skaters. Furthermore, the outer material is extra strong so that the cap does not break when sliding on the knees. Like all Skatepads, this pad is horseshoe-shaped inside, preventing the pad from slipping off the knee too quickly.
