Developed and engineered in conjunction with a downhill skateboard world champion, the Pass Pro downhill helmet is the ultimate in performance. The compact shell and aerodynamic design allow for an unrestrained speed rush. We are utilizing a progressive manufacturing process to eliminate trapped air and compress the multiple layers of the helmet shell for a stronger but lighter build and a clean and refined surface. The spherical curved visor with scratch-proof, anti-fog coating provides optimal peripheral vision. Nose vent ports, combined with a revolutionary exhalation fogging blocker above the mouth, pushes exhaled breath down and out of the helmet, supporting the anti-fogging design. The removable cheek pads can be size adjusted to fit each individual's head shape perfectly.

WHY WE MADE IT The Pass Pro is different from the normal Pass due to its production process. The Pass Pro is manufactured using the more complex bag molding process. For this process, pre-impregnated fiberglass is cut to size and slightly adhesive. These parts are placed in the mold in the correct position. Then, a specialized bag is placed over the fiberglass, and air pressure presses the fiberglass against the mold wall. Rollers squeeze out air pockets as pressure is directed against the bag. The advantage of the bag molding process is the elimination of possible air bubbles and a significant weight saving. This manufacturing process is slightly more expensive than hand laminating.

FEATURES PROTECTION FEATURES - Hardshell fiberglass construction: The hardshell helmets are constructed from ABS or PP plastic, which gets bonded to the EPS core for a two-piece construction that provides high durability and ultimate high-impact protection.

COMFORT FEATURES - Air Flow Channels: Our innovative Air Flow vent system delivers optimal air circulation and reduces uncomfortable heat build-up in the helmet. - Nose Vent Ports: Two small vent ports in the nose area allow enhanced exchange of air. - Ear Slots: Small openings at ear level improve the wearer’s perception of ambient noise. - Washable Comfort Liner: Quick-dry liner padding that is removable and machine washable. - Removable and size adjust cheek pads: Additional foam wedges can be installed into the cheek pads to adjust thickness to fit all faces. - Spherical lenses: Each helmet comes with two visors: mirrored tinted and clear, for various light conditions. The inside of the visor is anti-fog coated and the outer anti-scratch treated. - Sealed view window: The Pass helmet visor is completely sealed when closed, and no airflow comes in. - Double D-Ring closure - Removable Fogging-blocker in 2 sizes.

Specifications The helmet designers and the super-tough ABS outershell make it possible to build a sleeker, more solid silhouette with the added strength of a toughened PC-laminated EPS foam protective face guard. The polycarbonate shell bonds with the EPS, creating a super light and stable helmet. In-Mold Construction connects the shock-absorbing EPS liner directly to the polycarbonate shells to create a lightweight and strong structure.
