Kneepad Roller Derby 3.0 From the brand Previous page TECHNICAL SAFETY GEAR Visit the Store Next page Product Description The Roller Derby 3.0 Kneepad features sewn PE caps and our unique double Velcro closure straps. This pad was developed over time due to the many falls Roller Derby players experience. After numerous tests, we found that a sewn on cap works best and tested various types of thread, with cotton thread proving to be the best. This pad also has a butterfly strap system for ease of use and adjustment, as well as additional silicone prints on the inside to prevent slipping. The special straps system can be adapted to the length, ensuring no excess strap, and they can be additionally secured with an over tab velcro closure. The pads use thick EVA foam to protect the roller derby users and are specially designed with a slim-line ergonomic profile for obstruction-free skating. The double Velcro closure on the top strap assures a secure fit and hold while eliminating snagging on players’ clothing. The customizable bottom strap also ensures a perfect fit and size management.
